Series 8 Pulled Pork Picnic This series will cover everything you need to host a picnic or backyard party for a crowd. The menu is Pulled Pork Sandwiches with BBQ Sauce and Coleslaw, a Fresh Summer Corn Salad, and a festive Red, White & Blue White Wine Sangria that can also be made in a non-alcoholic version. Our 1st video will teach you 3 different BBQ sauces to be mixed into the pork and spread on sandwich bread: Essential, Korean, and Carolina Gold. You can choose one or make all 3, divide pork into 3 portions and mix up one of each flavor. All 3 sauces can be made up to 2 weeks ahead and stored in the fridge. Our 2nd video features 2 different coleslaws to be used on the sandwiches or served separately: a mayo-based Basic Coleslaw and a soy sauce-based Asian Slaw. Video 3 will teach you how to make the pulled pork using a 3-5 lb. pork shoulder in a slow cooker, oven, or covered gas grill after first applying a dry rub and letting it sit overnight in the fridge.
