Echo Evaluation of the Right Heart in Pulmonary Hypertension: Updates from the 2025 ASE Guidelines

Presented by Monica Mukherjee, MD, MPH, FAHA, FACC, FASE and Kenneth Ridley, RDCS, FASE, this webinar is designed to: summarize the World Symposium on Pulmonary Hypertension (WSPH) classification system and the role of echocardiography across PH subgroups; describe standardized echocardiographic approaches to assess right heart size and function; explain the mechanical and hemodynamic adaptations of the right heart in PH; identify key echocardiographic features characteristic of each WSPH group, including morphologic, functional, and Doppler-based parameters; and demonstrate the clinical utility of echocardiography in the diagnosis, risk stratification, and therapeutic monitoring of patients with suspected or established pulmonary hypertension.
