Combining 4 amplifier channels into 1 channel on a QSC PLD amplifier

Setting up a QSC PLD 4.2 amplifier to run as one large mono amplifier. Four channels are combined into one parallel channel. In the video, this configuration (with the 4-ohm sub) yields about 800 watts (not 1600 watts I reference in the video). A 4-channel parallel configuration will produce 1600 watts at a 2-ohm load (not the 4-ohm load in the video). The amplifier supports parallel and bridge-mono configuration. We chose parallel for this setup to get about 200 watts more output over a 2-channel bridge-mono setup (it's not much more power, but we'll take it). However, if we did a 4-channel (parallel/bridge) setup, this would have resulted in full power of the amplifier into the single 4-ohm speaker. This configuration works for the QSC PLD 4.3 and 4.5 amplifiers as well.
