Waikerie's Sunline Speedway came to life on Saturday the 5th of April with the running of the highly anticipated 2025 Classic Speedway Spectacular. A creditable turnout assembled into the Riverland venue to see the Classic Speedway as the South Australian Classic Speedway Association turned back the hands of time with the sights, sounds and smells of yesteryear. The day started with a Show and Shine in the pits, followed by a spirited demonstration on track action where all competitors had the opportunity for a minimum of three runs each between 2:00 - 5:00PM before a friendly social BBQ in the pit area brough the fun day to a close, with funds raised donated to the Waikerie Men's Shed.
