How To Exploit Different Player Types #1 - Always Pay Attention Ensure that you are constantly making mental notes of what your opponent's are doing incorrectly. Put your phone down, look away from the sports game - you should be doing everything you can to understand where your opponent is going wrong so that you can strategize against them! How To Exploit Different Player Types #2 - Extrapolate On Your Observations Once a player has given you some information on how they played a hand, try to extrapolate their mistakes into broader categories. For example, if a player makes a very wide call, you should assume that they call too light & frequently and should make a mental note not to bluff them as often! How To Exploit Different Player Types #3 - Adjust To Your Opponent Accordingly Now that you have put in the work to identify what your opponent is doing wrong, you need to capitalize by exploiting their mistakes. Ensure that you are going for the riskier bluff when you know your opponent over-folds and fold the strong hand if you know they never bluff.
