Dreaminiscence by Frank Macchia

From the 2021 album "Songs For Tracy", this features Tracy London on vocals, Frank on woodwinds/synthesizers, and Brock Avery on drums. The paintings in the video were all created by Frank using acrylic paint on canvas. Frank wrote the poem, then turned it into music by the use of a tone row. The music's harmonic structure and form followed the images of the poem in a random stream-of-consciousness fashion by harmonization based on the melody. The goal was to create a free flowing tone poem with lush harmony that cradled the melody. The paintings are intended to represent a childlike vision of a dream and a hope for the world to believe in beauty.
