THIS VIDEO IS A RECONSTRUCTION OF THE FOLLOWING SITUATION IN FLIGHT: 03-MAR-2026. A China Airlines Boeing 777-36N(ER) (B77W), registration B-18053, performing flight CAL12 / CI12 from Taipei Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (Taiwan) to New York John F. Kennedy International Airport, NY (USA) after landing on runway 4 right at JFK Airport was instructed to hold short of runway 4 left on taxiway FB. Then the Tower instructed another aircraft (KAL085) to cross runway 4 left at FB but for some reasons this instruction was confirmed by the pilots of CAL012 and the controller didn’t notice that. When CAL012 was about to enter runway 4 left, a British Airways Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner was cleared for takeoff from runway 4 left. A few moments later the Tower saw that the runway was occupied and instructed BAW11J to hold position. As the result the flight crew of CAL012 was given a phone number due to possible pilot deviation. HOW I DO VIDEOS: 1) I monitor media, airspace, looking for any non-standard, emergency and interesting situation. 2) I find communications of ATC unit for the period of time I need. 3) I take only phrases between air traffic controller and selected flight. 4) I find a flight path of selected aircraft. 5) I make an animation (early couple of videos don’t have animation) of flight path and aircraft, where the aircraft goes on his route. 6) When I edit video I put phrases of communications to specific points in video (in tandem with animation). 7) Together with my comments (voice and text) I edit and make a reconstruction of emergency, non-standard and interesting situation in flight.
