In this beginner-friendly tutorial, I’ll show you exactly how to add a guitar in BandLab step by step — whether you’re recording a real guitar or using BandLab’s built-in virtual instruments. This is a quick, simple walkthrough designed to get you recording fast, even if this is your very first project. First, we start by creating a new project in BandLab. 👉 Click Create and start a fresh project, or open one of your existing projects from My Projects if you already have something started. 👉 This gives you a clean slate so you can easily add new tracks without feeling overwhelmed. Next, I’ll show you how to add a guitar track for recording. 👉 Click Add Track in the top left of your screen. 👉 Choose Guitar from the list of track types. 👉 Your guitar track will appear across the timeline, ready to record. 👉 Press Record when you’re ready to capture your guitar part. If you don’t have a physical guitar or audio interface, no problem.
