Seems like it was nowhere to be found online, but I managed to hunt it down by buying the right old shareware sampler and finally got around uploading this to the Internet Archive. "Runen" ("Runes") is an obscure German 'cinematic' platformer for DOS that is strongly inspired by Prince of Persia, Flashback and Another World. The Shareware is actually the full game without the ability to save your progress.
