A revised # 1 video with better lighting (I hope). A first video of my TT layout. Testing out camera and lighting, hope to improve in time. Layout is 3' x 6' and was constructed when I was 14-18. With Hornby introducing British TT, I hope to rebuild a similar layout. TT scale is 1:120 scale, right inbetween HO and N, so you get the detail and the advantage of small size. Layout is European prototype but not based on any particular location. Track and all rolling stock with a couple exceptions is from Tillig Modelbahn. Structures are from Auhagen and the wonderful semaphore signals are from Viessmann electronics. And the star of the show is class BR 56 DR 2-8-0 steam loco just re-released from Tillig, a fantastic runner ! Layout is block wired DC with MRC power in control. A lot of fun to build and after 12 years is still operating and giving pleasure. Very happy to have started my life long envolvement in the hobby with this layout as my first. Moving on to a larger TT layout in future as well as an On30 narrow gauge layout. Hope to post many more videos of my future efforts as well as prototype videos !
