Since im too tired to write a diary like entry about this, i'm just going to bullet point lol. Video Concepts & Creation To show The Young Avengers, who they are to eachother and those around them. Drawing parallels between the YA and the actual Avengers team. Highlighting events they starred in or indirectly helped (AvX) To give America Chavez, Loki and Noh some spotlight! Also to use Kate more than i have before. To try and pretend David isn't really joining the team...I used just one shot of him. To use The scarlet Witch way more than i actually need to. Plus Jean Grey. \m/ Song idea was from a tumblr user who gave me her blessing to make this! Ellie Goulding Young Avengers anthology lol. My editing career is just based on her release schedule now. Tried to make a cartoon/TV like look. Used a slightly hazy visual & texture for the heat theme. The song and comic have a very dance club feeling so i drew on that a bit for the filler. Kept a balance of hot and cold colours. Despite the song name i avoided too many fire elements as they can be harsh and disruptive. Decided on a meteor storm to represent fire, inspired from Mass Effect 3. Wiccan and Hulkling still steal the show. Wiccan because he's godly and has SO much plot, Hulkling because those eyes are the most mesmerizing eyes in the whole book and the artists know it. New artist not as soulful as Cheung but gorgeous expressions and very creative panels, gave me lots of inspiration for animating scenes. Chueng is so gifted but his panels are very self contained and hard to do things like this with.
