Do I Need a Swivel Pin on Every Hose? #askmark #scuba @patrickmessina08 What brand of 6” HP hose and air spool would you recommend to use for connecting the transmitter to the first stage? @ruediger_b #askmark - Hello Mark, a question about the swivel that you have to install in the high-pressure hoses to the pressure gauge. I have now bought new MIFLEX hoses for my 2nd stage and the octopus as a replacement for the old rubber hoses and there was NO swivel in the old connections. Sure, they were sealed beforehand - so do you actually only need them in the high-pressure hoses? Thank you for a short answer - and thank you for the great explanatory videos on your channel :) #scuba #scubadiving #scubadiver LINKS Become a fan: https://www.scubadivermag.com/join Gear Purchases: https://www.scubadivermag.com/affilia... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OUR WEBSITES Website: https://www.scubadivermag.com ➡️ Scuba Diving, Underwater Photography, Hints & Advice, Scuba Gear Reviews Website: https://www.divernet.com ➡️ Scuba News, Underwater Photography, Hints & Advice, Travel Reports Website: https://www.godivingshow.com ➡️ The Only Dive Show in the United Kingdom Website: https://www.rorkmedia.com ➡️ For advertising within our brands ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FOLLOW US ON SOCIAL MEDIA FACEBOOK: / scubadivermag TWITTER: / scubadivermag INSTAGRAM: / scubadivermagazine We partner with https://www.scuba.com and https://www.mikesdivestore.com for all your gear essentials.
