NASA Astronauts Jessica Meir and Chris Williams will install a modification kit and route cables on the port side of the orbital outpost for a future roll-out solar array. The seventh roll-out solar array will be installed on a later spacewalk to augment the main solar arrays’ power generation capabilities. Once installed, the array will provide additional power for the orbital laboratory, including critical support of its safe and controlled deorbit. The duration of the spacewalk was 7 hours, 1 minute and 40 seconds. The EVA will be hosted by NASA's Johnson Space Center, Houston, Texas.
