Pedal Scopic Sounds EPISODE 27: Collision Devices Nocturnal (Effect used on Guitar, Bass, & Vocals) WATCH PART 1 HERE:    • Collision Devices Nocturnal Reverb/Delay/T...   Those who have been following for a while will notice that this is the second demo I've done for this pedal. There's a bit of a backstory. Originally, this video was supposed to be part of the TARS & Singularity fuzz launches but a series of shipping issues got in the way. The first attempt was accidentally sent to my old address in England, which took quite some time to get back to the ‪@collisiondevices‬ folks. After that it went to the house I was staying in before moving to Philadelphia. It arrived about two days after I left, so someone forwarded it to me in Philly. They accidentally altered the zipcode and this led to weeks, and then months, of the Philly post shipping the parcel everywhere but the actual destination. While they've never actually confirmed that the package is lost, it sure seems to have disappeared off the face of the planet. In the end, I felt terrible both that the Collision folks had sent their pedals into the ether and I couldn't make a video for them. That being said, I had already done the animation, so I decided to finish the video with the one Collision pedal I own, the incredible Nocturnal. Of course, it couldn't be that easy, as the pedal was with a bunch of my things that haven't yet migrated over to the USA from my years abroad. I finally managed to pick it up last year and, well, here we are. In order to more fully explore the abilities of this awesome machine, I brought in some friends to show how well it plays with others. It was awesome to revist this pedal now that I know it a bit better. I think I had about a week between receiving the pedal and releasing my first demo, which was a very fun, speedy exploration, but this time was like hanging with an old friend. Collision Devices has released a bunch of cool stuff since this pedal came out, but Nocturnal is still a standout machine and an amazing example of the creativity of this builder.
