Sighting in my new .270 win Winchester Model 70 Super Grade in AAA Maple. 2021 Shot Show special. I had a new old stock 2007 Leupold Century Limited Edition scope that I picked up on Ebay mounted on it. A 3-9x40mm. Just a classic American hunting rifle with a beautiful wood stock and a high gloss finish. Furniture, a wall hanger and a tack driver. Which is exactly what I wanted. Call me old school if you must but the classics have always been my favorite. I don't really care for the matte black polymer plastic modern firearms. Solid shiny steel and wood will work fine for me. Although I am getting a Glock 26 soon. We went to the Ukiah gun club and started out with a poster at 50 yards. It took 9 shots to get on the bullseye. Then moved out to 100 yards and dialed it in some more. The last 3 shots were on a 350 or 400 yard gong. I'm not really sure. Fired 22 shots of new Nosler lead free ammo which is now required for hunting in California. 22 shots to get a new rifle on at 350 yards. A good day.
