Lasering the Tibetan Buddhist mantra for the Sherpa Watches Mantramatic movement

This is how one of our Tibetan Buddhist prayer wheels gets laser engraved to form a core element of our Mantramatic movement. We disassemble the movements, take out the seconds and escape wheels and place them by hand in a tiny yet highly precise fixation. Then the high tech femto laser can do its magic and engrave the “OM MANI PADME HUM” mantra many times onto the wheel. The end result is only 0.1mm high and 1mm long. Probably one of the smallest engraved mantras in the world.
