Welcome onboard the Scania K230UB! These buses were introduced in 2006, forming part of the bus fleet renewal for SBST, along with the Volvo B9TLs. They have been criticised for having a shoddy bodywork and shaky SMC Transit doors, as well as their jerky engines and boring appearance, especially since a total of 1100 buses were purchased! The Euro IV buses have Denso aircon, which can be cold or weak depending on the bus. They feature a brown interior, which has been described as 'dull and boring' by bus fans. Another issue with the buses (especially the later Euro V) was that some buses got noisy radiators, which can annoy customers a lot! In this video, I take SBS8367R on 135, a Batch 2 Euro IV KUB, from Upper Aljunied Road (Aft Upp S'goon Rd) to Circuit Road.
