Rachael shares how the foster-based rescue has grown over the past decade and built a passionate community of fosters, volunteers, and medical professionals, along with how they work with NYC’s municipal shelter system (The Animal Care Centers of New York City) to support and place local dogs in need. The conversation highlights the need for more animal rescues and shelters to remove barriers to adoption, embrace technology for their everyday practices, and to provide more post-adoption support and resources to ultimately help as many dogs as possible find and flourish in their forever homes.
