Featured is an intriguing chess game between International Master Konstantin Kazakov and LeelaRookOdds, played on Lichess on January 28, 2026. Leela plays the Black pieces without a queen’s rook and faces a familiar setup: a central pawn duo on e4 and d4, supported by knights controlling the four central squares. In response, Leela adopts a kind of “Pawn Crawl" opening, where five pawns (from c through g) each advance one square. Only later does a sixth pawn join in, sparking a kingside attack, with subsequent pawn advances gaining tempo. #LeelaRookOdds I'm a self-taught National Master in chess out of Pennsylvania, USA who was introduced to the game by my father in 1988 at the age of 8. The purpose of this channel is to share my knowledge of chess to help others improve their game. I enjoy continuing to improve my understanding of this great game, albeit slowly.
