Living in a village is not just a lifestyle; it’s a feeling... a sense of authenticity, peace, nature, and a real connection with the earth and the sky. In this video you will see how I start my morning with the crowing of roosters, sweep the house, feed my chickens and roosters, and go to the hay field with my white donkey. I want to show how simple but meaningful life is; from bringing grass for our little goats and lambs to returning to the garden to cook a delicious traditional meal. When we sit down at the table with my little daughter Delsa at the end of the night, with a short prayer and a smile, our whole day is blessed... "Hello to all of you who are interested in a natural and peaceful life... My name is Sahra, I am 26 years old and I live in a green village in the north of Iran. Every morning, when I open my eyes, the first thing I hear is the crowing of our roosters. A sound that comes from the depths of the earth and time; a sound that tells me that a new day has begun. I get out of bed with excitement, put on my scarf and go to the yard. I sweep the floor with handmade wooden brooms, the smell of the soil soaked with morning dew fills my heart with a sense of life. My chickens and roosters search for their grains with noise and I sprinkle them with a smile. Today it is the turn of the farm. I ride my white donkey. It is my most faithful companion in my agricultural days. The path to the farm passes through plains, mountains and gardens. In the silence that is only interrupted by the sound of the donkey's hooves and the occasional song of a bird, I reach the hay field. The hay is green and fresh, I gather a few sacks with my own hands, for the goats and lambs that are not grazing today. I pack the donkey and return home. I am tired, but this tiredness is different, it is sweet tiredness. The kind of tiredness that brings you closer to life... Now it is time to cook. I go to the garden, a cozy place full of breeze. I gather wood, light a fire, put the copper pot on the tripod and start making a delicious local stew. As the smell of the food rises, Delsa, my little daughter, runs towards me from afar. As we sit at the table, we pray together. For our livelihood, for the health of all the people who love this way of life. With every bite of food, I feel how much closer I am to my roots. Life in the village is simple, but full of meaning. Every day is a lesson in gratitude, in patience, in joy in the little things. Some might say that modern life is easier. But I have something here that is not there: true peace... the sound of nature... pure simplicity...
