Augmentation can be performed with either saline or silicone implants. The procedure takes approximately 1.5 hours and is done under general anesthesia. There are typically 3 methods to perform the breast lift. These include the inframmamary (under the breast), periareolar (around the nipple), and the transaxillary (armpit) incisions. Implants are placed under the muscle to reduce chances of infection and better long term results.
