This is the incredible true story of Christopher Gala, a 34-year veteran of the Uganda Police Force. Born in 1941, his journey from a small village to becoming a Divisional Police Commander is remarkable. But it’s his experience during the height of the Ugandan Bush War that is truly unbelievable. In this exclusive interview, Mr. Gala recounts the day in 1984 when the NRA, led by current President Yoweri Museveni, attacked Masindi Barracks. He was captured in his nightclothes and taken into the bush, unsure if he would ever see his family again.
