The names of these seven verses are Gayatri, Ushnik, Anustup, Brihati, Virata, Tristup and Jagti. Gayatri chand has three stages of eight syllables each. The mantras of the Rig Veda have the highest number of Gayatri verses except Trishup. Gayatri has three verses (Tripada vai Gayatri).
