My name is Parham Nematollah. I am a Licensed Counselor with a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have been working in the mental health and addiction treatment space for over a decade. I can't say that I always wanted to be a therapist. The truth of the matter is that back in June of 2008, I was personally referred to a mental health professional who helped transform my life. The combination of his compassion, empathy, and unconditional positive regard created the therapeutic space needed to enable this transformation. When I left his office that day, I made a commitment to myself that one day I will make another human being feel the way that man made me feel. I have been on that pursuit ever since. This Chanel is a byproduct of that commitment. Additional Information: I am also the Chief Operating Officer at Buckeye Recovery Network. In my current role, I get to develop strategic initiatives, create/implement various programs, and lead talented teams of multidisciplinary professionals each day. Professionals who are knowledgeable, passionate, and committed to positively making an impact on lives of the clients and families who we have the privilege of working with. I have also been coaching boys basketball at Aliso Niguel High School since 2008. These days I mostly work with our student athletes in a mental health/mental wellness capacity, with the intention to provide them with the tools needed to succeed on and off the basketball court. When I am not at Buckeye Recovery Network or coaching basketball you will probably find me spending quality time with my wife, walking our dog, practicing pilates and youga, drinking a green juice, reading a book, listening to a podcast, or burning the midnight oil in the pursuit of personal and professional development.
