Chessboard Waterbomb Cube - Pure origami [Rather Simple] How to fold a 4X4 Chessboard/Checkerboard from a single square no cutting. This model is collapsible, and it can also be opened so that you can put a gift inside and reclose it. Also, I didn't show this, but in its collapsed form the front chessboard face can turn 180° relative to the rear face using the same mechanism as my recent Rubik's Square which I taught here    • Rubik's Square 📈 Pure Origami 🔄 Turns 360°!  . For my members-only video I made a modular kinetic toy using 4 of these chessboards and connector pieces. The toy can also be collapsed into a chessboard bracelet and an 8X8 chessboard that when you flip it over in a certain way you can create the illusion that the 8X8 chessboard appears to be on both sides. Another cool thing about this chessboard model (in this video for everyone): When you twist it flat you can blow into it and it will untwist as the balloon is inflated.
