Almsee Grünau im Almtal: Der urprünglichste See im Salzkammergut [4K]

Der Almsee im Almtal ist ein Bergsee im Salzkammergut nahe des Traunsees bei Gmunden in Oberösterreich. Der See steht unter Naturschutz, dementsprechend ist er abgesehen vom Südufer nicht verbaut und sehr ursprünglich. Am Ostufer des Sees gibt es auch einen Badeplatz. Im Hintergrund des Sees im Süden türmt sich das Tote Gebirge rund um den Zwölferkogel auf. Nach zwei kurzen Besuchen im Jahr 2020 hat uns der Almsee so beeindruckt dass wir heuer das Almtal und den Almsee genauer erforscht haben und uns auch den wunderbaren Sonnenaufgang angesehen haben. Ebenso haben wir das am Ostufer befindliche Bootshaus (welches aber von Land nicht zu erreichen ist) unter die Lupe genommen. The lake is under nature protection, so there are no buildings except one on the south shore and is very authentical. There is also a bathing area on the eastern shore of the lake. In the background of the lake are mountains of the Totes Gebirge as the Zwölferkogel. After two short visits in 2020 the Almsee impressed us so much that this year we had to explore it more and got to see the wonderful sunrise too. We also took a close look at the boathouse on the east bank (which, however, cannot be reached from land).
