Socrates SUMMARY ======= American Heritage of Invention & Technology was a quarterly magazine dedicated to the history of technology. It was a spinoff of American Heritage magazine. It started in the summer of 1985 and there were three issues a year until 1992, when it became quarterly. Following the Summer 2007 issue (volume 23, number 1), publication was suspended (along with American Heritage itself). Publication of the magazine resumed with the Summer 2008 issue (volume 23, number 2), under the slightly changed title American Heritage's Invention & Technology. The last issue was Winter 2011 (volume 25, number 4).
