From answering the bigger questions like allocation of government budget into different schemes to more personal questions as in how much money one should spend on their education, economics as a field encompasses diverse topics and tries to answer them through the lens of causal inference. The aim of the talk is to give students a sense of what is "causal inference" and how it is used in answering economics questions.
