MISS UNIVERSE 2015 IS MISS PHILIPPINES!!!!!

When Colombia was announced as the winner and Miss Philippines was ushered to the back, all the Filipinos in the crowd just went dead silent. Before the announcement, everybody felt and agreed that the crown was going back to the Philippines. The feeling was very palpable. Then it happened. Some people walked out. Some sat back down. I fell quiet. Felt sad and frustrated but I didn't heckle or said anything, just quiet. Very opposite to the last three hours I was there. Miss Colombia was jumping up and down with the reigning queen as she was being crowned and I couldn't watch. I focused my gaze at Miss Philippines at the far back. Then a few seconds more and the final walk has not been started and instead, a dragging Steve Harvey came back. It was out of the ordinary, but then, with all of the new things introduced at this years Miss Universe, I can't be surprised anymore. But when Steve Harvey said.. "I have to apologize..." that's when I felt a surge of electricity back in my body and dang boy, just like that! It was mad house inside the theater again!!! Just crazy! I had to take my camera out again and start filming. The rest is history as they say, but it was a moment of all emotions. Just a wild mixture of emotions and it was something I was so grateful to experience firsthand. Although it would have been much much beautiful if Miss Philippines was crowned in the traditional way, but then, all of it made for a more personalized, controversial if you wanna put it that way, more special, at least to me, kind of winning. Congrats again to Pia Wurtzbach! Our third Miss Universe!
