If you'd like to watch my In Depth Review of another Casio Calculator Watch (the CA-53 which is visible in this video), then follow this link • Casio CA-53 Calculator Watch - My In ... . This video features the DBC-32 Calculator/Databank watch from Casio. Compared to the lower-priced CA-53 this is loaded with extra features. The only major, missing feature on this DBC-32 is water resistance. Otherwise, it improves upon the CA-53 by offering a backlight which has a short-or-longer duration option and a temporary, automatic backlight option. The Databank allows the user to store 25 records with an alphanumeric title (up to 8 characters) and 15 digits of numbers in each record. The Databank titles can be entered in one of 13 different languages. The day-of-the-week on the main, timekeeping display can also be shown in one of those 13 languages. The DBC-32 also features five very versatile alarms. One alarm can be set as a "Snooze" alarm. All alarms can be programmed for a specific month, a specific day of each month, just one day of the year or every single day. Meanwhile, like the CA-53, this watch has an 8-digit calculator. The calculator mode on this one includes a simple Currency Conversion function. This watch has a 24-hour stopwatch. It has a Dual Time mode. It can display the time in 12-hour or 24-hour configurations. And it's very easy to activate or deactivate Daylight Saving Time in the main, timekeeping mode and/or the Dual Time mode. Currently, there's another version of this watch which has a silver-tone case and a metal bracelet for just a few dollars more than this model. Shop carefully and you'll find the resin version for somewhere between $20 and $30 or the silver-tone version for somewhere between $30 and $40 (prices based on early 2023 shopping). This watch uses module 2888 and the complete instructions are available to download from Casio's website. This uses a CR2025 battery which should last about 10 years with normal use.
