I was living in a tiny basement suite, paying way too much rent, working two customer service jobs, and I was not happy. Exhausted, I would crawl back to my one window room and get ready for tomorrow...the same routine. I was busy and moving around every day, but I was stuck. I didn't feel like there was anything else I could do. One day, I think it was a Tuesday, I walked outside. I couldn't remember the last time I gave myself the chance to enjoy the fresh air. While the afternoon sun gleamed down on me, the roof that hung over me evaporated. I didn't feel so stuck anymore. All it took was one gentle step outside of my door. Now jumping to 2020 and the COVID-19 pandemic, we are all pretty much stuck inside. This song became more relevant to the global situation and only felt right to display in this way. So from me to you, get outside if you're feeling stuck. One breath of fresh air can make all the difference. Please wear a mask though.
