Izzet Murktide has been a Modern staple since the printing of Murktide Regent and Ragavan in Modern Horizons 2. What could unseat a Horizons set but another Horizons set? MH3 gave Dimir Psychic Frog AND made the metagame hostile for Ragavan, making this established archetype change colors.
