The installation of my Humminbird Helix 7 Fishfinder Kevin VanDam Edition begins for my Hobie Outback Kayak. In this video I will show you how I'm mounting all the components to PVC board and attaching it to my Hobie kayak. The hardest part of the entire fishfinder installation is in this video and it's not very hard at all. My goal is to create a 1-piece fishfinder install that is easily removable and easy to transfer to other fishing kayaks I fish from. I actually own 4 kayaks and I fish in different types of water, fresh and saltwater. To make this fishfinder portable, is very important.
