• The Primary Health Care Infrastructure in rural areas has been developed as a three tier system ( The Primary tier ) • The three pillars of Primary Health Care System includes SCs, PHCs and CHCs. Sub-Centre • A Sub-Centre / Sub-Health Centre is the most peripheral and first point of contact between the primary health care system and the community. • Sub-Centre is the peripheral outpost of the existing Health Care Delivery System in rural areas of India. • ‘6’ Sub-centres are connected with one P.H.C. Maternal and Child Health Services 2. Coordination & Monitoring. 3. Safe Abortion Services (MTP) 4. Out reach / Field Services 5. Simple laboratory services 6. Universal Immunization. 7.
