In this video I demonstrate a method for easily removing the bottom from an aluminum beverage can. I decided to create this video after watching other videos demonstrating the construction of alcohol camp stoves and other various projects that are constructed from aluminum beverage cans. In many of the videos, it seemed that the most difficult cut was the one to remove the bottom from the can. As I demonstrate in the video, the bottom can be easily removed in such a way that the resulting edge is clean and straight. The best part is that aluminum cans are cheap, so if you mess up, you just give it another try. Also, I am applying pressure on the knife, I failed to mention this in the video.
