It was time to get a large capacity hard drive. So, while shopping at Costco we came across the WD ( Western Digital ) 8TB My Book hard drive. Coming in at only $189 Canadian dollars, this seemed like a really good deal. Plus we took the time to check best buys price and they had what looked like the same drive for $214. So this was definitely cheaper. So we purchased the drive, set it up and started running a few hard drive speed tests to see how well this little WD 8TB My Book drive could run.
