This Suzuki Carry had an oil leak from the rear differential, so I replaced the oil seal. This video shows how I did it. It's a 2004 Suzuki Carry 4WD kei truck imported from Japan (DA63T model code) with 55,000 km. The process started with raising the truck up on some wooden blocks to improve access. Axle stands would be fine too. With the truck raised up I drained the differential oil and disconnected the prop shaft. This revealed the driveshaft nut. I bent the staking straight and undid the nut, which allowed the driveshaft flange to be removed, revealing the oil seal. At this point the old oil seal could be removed and the new one installed. Then the driveshaft flange was refitted, the prop shaft connected and the differential filled with oil. The final step was a road test to get the differential and oil nice and hot, then check for leaks. No more dribbling differential! Tools used 12 mm, 19 mm and 22 mm sockets. 3/8 drive ratchet or breaker bar for the oil fill plug. Puller https://amzn.to/3GG9sny Hammer - I used a nylon faced hammer, not strictly necessary but I like using it for jobs like this - https://amzn.to/3mAB2M6 Mandrel or socket for knocking the new oil seal into place.
