Everspace 2 Lunacy 2000 Vanguard Farmer ?

I gotta admit. I have had a pretty contemptuous Creator/offspring relationship with this vessel. There are definitely wrong ways to build a Vanguard. For example, if you put more than 2 Tides of Siren Sea items on the Vanguard you might think you could double the shield again. Yeah, super mermaid build... Nope! This is not the case. More than 2 Tides cancels out the ships shield doubling ability altogether. You might also get the idea that if you install more than 2 Commander pieces with a "Wrath of the Fallen", every time a zombie ally dies the shield boosts above normal. Awesome!! Dacula in space!! Nope! The shield will bounce up to its normal full but any over boosting will disappear!! Apparently this isn't a glitch, and I get it. If both of these ideas worked you could build a game wrecking Ursula-Necromancer-Dr.-Captian-merica mashup ship that would completely destroys the game. I spent way too many hours discovering these mistakes so you don't have too. And like all my builds I try to balance destruction potential with survive-ability. By no means am I claiming this is the best build but, it will hopefully help the less than gifted pilots out there crush Lunacy 2000 rifts. Ladies and Gentlemen (and any aliens eves dropping) I give you..... The Die-O-Later (not to be confused with dilator, that's kinda gross)
