OK then, the first video of the month, let's go into an accuracy test with a dual rate meter: The Ferranti FNN 2QWR* For this one, Evolution Three of the Meter Accuracy Testing Board comes out for business along with the Phantom Loading Unit, and we get on giving this meter an accuracy test... On-Phantom! :D In this video, I do quote the model number FNE 12 QWR, but something seems a bit odd and different with this one: It seems WAY SORT of the ususal 225 revs per kWh for the loadwheel characteristic. It only seems to do 15 revs per 1/10th of a kWh. This can only mean one thing: This instrument is the dual-rate version of the FNN 2Q. While the FNN 2Q is an 80A meter, there is no knowing the loading capacity of this one, so I am going to be keeping this one under 40A. Of course, we won't be getting anywhere near 40A in this video because the maximum for the Meter Accuracy testing Board is 16A, so we'll be cranking it up to that level and getting right into it.
