Salesforce Park: beautiful, free, clean, safe and a joy to visit

Visiting the Salesforce Park truly feels like a hidden escape in San Francisco complete with "chill vibe". In the heart of the financial district, the park sits on the 4th floor atop the Salesforce Transit Center, in the shadow of Salesforce Tower, a +1,000 foot office skyscraper is visible from almost any part of the city. Homeless are not excluded but the park is not open at night (hours 6am - 9pm), has limited access due to being on a rooftop, enforces rules and regulations that discourage antisocial behavior and has a strong police and private security presence. And yes there are clean restrooms. The rooftop park, with 5.4 acres of extensive flowers, plants and trees from around the world is a wonderful nature adventure including walk around the 4 city block roof top park. The facility includes a main plaza with free live entertainment as well as beer, wine and food available. The park sponsors a Kid's recess or play area with crafts and books and the park also provides health and wellness activities. The park is accessible through elevators, escalators, stairs and our favorite the Gondola at the corner of Fremont and Mission Streets. To enjoy your trail in the Park, we propose you follow the walking path which tracks all the park perimeter and spans around half a mile.
