Today, I will show you how to protect your home from insects and spiders using Tempro SC Ultra without paying exterminators hundreds of dollars a year. First, let's talk about price. You always want to wear the proper PPE when working with chemicals like Tempo. Wear gloves, glasses, a mask, a long sleeve shirt, pants, and closed-toed shoes when spraying. Don't spray in winds over 15 mph. Also, pay attention to the wind direction while you spray. You don't want the chemical drifting back into your face or on your clothes. Don't spray around children or pets. Don't spray around where your pets eat. It's a good idea to wash the food and water bowls after spraying if you have pets. Use common sense when applying Tempo. If you feel uncomfortable dealing with pesticides, hire a professional. However, if you pay attention to what you're doing, you can protect your home without any worries. Now all that is out of the way. Let's get to work. Prepare the exterior of your home for application by using a broom or brush to remove any cobwebs, wasp nests, and mud dobber nests. Make sure you kill any wasps before trying to knock down their nests. Tempo will kill wasps with direct contact, but it may not be the best product to do so in some situations. For example, if a nest is high or hard to reach without agitating the wasps, get a different product to kill the wasps. There are several wasp killers on the market that will spray 15-20 feet. Pay close attention to small, enclosed spaces around your home. These spaces are favorites for wasps to call home. Clear around your doors, windows, eves, and corners of your home. Once you have all these spaces clear, you're ready to spray. Start by mixing 8ml of Tempo with a gallon of water. Put the lid on tight and shake it up to ensure the product is well mixed. Set the sprayer wand to a fan setting - about 9-12" works well. Spray around the doors, windows, and thresholds. Spray the base of your home where the walls meet the foundation. Also, spray the eves of your home where they meet the exterior walls. Make sure to hit all the cracks and crevices in the foundation/walls of your home. These are prime locations for spiders and insects to make their way into your home. I always hit these spots with a little extra, for good measure. Once you have done the entire perimeter of your home, it's protected for 2-3 months! One quick note, you can spray the interior of your home with this product as well.
