Our summer 2025 adventure continues! This video is the third leg of a trip that takes in Germany, Austria, Croatia, Corsica and France. We fly G-SUEO, a DA40 NG from Salzburg LOWS to Mali Lošinj LDLO . In this video we make an early departure from Salzburg due to thunderstorms being due to arrive within a few hours which would prevent us getting out for the next couple of days. We depart south from Salzburg and climb through a valley to get into the Alps, crossing at 10,000ft to Slovenia and onto the beautiful Mediterranean islands of Croatia. The scenery on this flight was incredible! The aircraft is a 2013 Diamond DA40 NG fitted with Garmin G1000 displays and GFC 700 auto-pilot. The aircraft is operated by Sue Air who have a fleet of four superbly maintained Diamond aircraft (DA40 and DA42).
