It’s considerably less expensive than similarly large rivals, but still offers an attractive, modern interior. Its limitations are below-par efficiency, and a driving experience that trails behind other SUVs. However, its separate-chassis construction, impressive diesel engine and four-wheel drive make it a very practical workhorse with an impressive towing capability. If thought of as a family-friendly alternative to a pickup, the seven-seat Rexton is well worth considering.
