Landlord won’t let you put in footings? No worries! Need to meet a tight deadline? We’ve got you covered! At Leading Crane Services, we find solutions to your problems! Recently, a top-tier client requested us to design a 3-bay freestanding crane system with 1 x 5t bridge crane and 2 x 2t bridge cranes; but here’s the catch: they could not modify their very thin concrete slab foundation. We tasked our skilled engineers with designing a solution to this unique problem. The solution: creating a top-rigid roof structure over the freestanding crane systems thus being able to utilize the existing concrete foundation without making any permanent modifications to the building. Our client had a strict deadline to meet while moving sites to maintain production, so the Leading Cranes team had to complete the onsite installation of these 3 x freestanding crane systems, along with 9 x light crane systems (that’s right 12 x crane systems total) in just TWO WEEKS! The journey began at our South Australian fabrication facility where the cranes were engineered, fabricated, fitted out, and delivered to Victoria. This is where the project was handed from our South Australian fabrication team to our Victorian installation team. The installation team worked relentlessly for two weeks ensuring an on time and safe handover of all 12 x cranes to a satisfied client.
