Hamilton County on December 16th 2025 celebrated the opening of its new Emergency Management Agency and Emergency Communications (9-1-1) facility in Springdale, marking a major step forward in strengthening regional emergency response and public safety. The $24 million construction investment brought the Hamilton County Emergency Management & Homeland Security Agency (EMA) and Hamilton County Emergency Communications (9-1-1) together for the first time at 111 Tri County Parkway, creating a unified hub for real-time coordination, information sharing, and countywide preparedness. Supported by a $1 million Emergency Operations Center grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the project reflected years of planning to modernize the County’s emergency response infrastructure. Hamilton County purchased the building in 2022 to co-locate these critical operations, replacing a 1972-era communications center that no longer met today’s technological and operational needs.
