Every week I go to scryfall.com and randomly select a card, making a budget (under $100) commander deck around it and showcasing a gameplay video of the deck. This week I'm joined by Bilal, Shawn, and AngryCow. This week's random card is Thromok the Insatiable (suggested by ADIDAS4DFWD on Reddit) and he's also the commander. Thromok is unique because his Devour trigger can grow exponentially. Basically, this means we just need to devour 7 creatures to get 49 power and be able to take players out from their starting life totals. This means we're running a ton of token generators and ways to benefit from having +1/+1 counters.
