Two Days in Broome, Western Australia. Is 2 days too long to spend in Broome?

We are in Broome is Western Australia after travelling 4200km from Perth in two weeks. As part of our road trip we are stopping in Broome for a couple of nights before we head towards the Gibb River Road. Staying at Cable Beach Caravan Park, it is a lot busier than we are used to but the campground has showers and laundry facilities so we can catch up on our washing. Lots of fellow travellers have warned us that two days in Broome is two days too long and its a tourist trap so it will be interesting to see for ourselves. Let me know what you think? Over these two days I will seek out the dinosaur footprints, visit cable beach hoping to see the camels walking along the beach a sunset and also Town Beach. Town Beach is where people go to watch the staircase to the moon in Broome but unfortunately we are here at the wrong time. I will also visit China Town, the Old Sun Pictures, the oldest open air movie theatre (in the world (I believe), Broome museum to learn about the history of the pearling industry and as much as I can cram in to my two days in Broome. To get around I used the Broome explorer bus that runs every 30 minutes and picks up from all hotel areas to take you to the sights around Broome. It costs $5 for a single ride or $15 for a 24 hour pass. A very convenient way to explore Broome.
