2007 Kone Ecodisc Lift with new voice @ Derbion Shopping Centre (Previously Intu Derby)

This lift is one of many 3rd generation Kone Ecodisc lifts found at the Derbion shopping centre (previously Intu Derby). This particular lift is part of a set of 4 that connects shopping levels 2 and 3 with car park floors 4 - 7. The other 3 lifts (and every other Kone Ecodisc in the centre) have the old Kone voice but this lift has the new voice. I wonder why the voice unit was replaced on this particular lift? The outside buttons for these lifts are white Dewhurst but the inside are Kone KSS570 (with one door close button being replaced by a KSS470 fixture). I don't know why Dewhurst was chosen for the outside buttons. A lot of the lifts here (but not all) also have Dewhurst buttons on the outside and one ecodisc lift even has Dewhurst on the inside! This lift has very nice 3rd generation brake clunks! The ecodiscs here were installed at various times, 2006, 2007 and 2015.
