Celebration (1983) is the rarer second single A side by Sleeping Lions, a follow up to 'Wonderful You Are' by the short lived new wave pop band. Their trademark was their up-cycled outfits along with Gaynor's electric harp. They had one more release shortly after this in 1983, a very different but addictive disco single called 'Sound of My Heart', the 12" of which was a popular track in gay clubs, before the band members moved onto other projects. There was an unreleased Sleeping Lions LP recorded but as the singles failed to dent the UK top 75 (a travesty!), it probably got withdrawn by CBS. Tony and Gaynor Sadler carried on to form an audio production company for TV broadcasting and film, including award winning advertising contracts, such as the BBC2 idents. They have also guested and collaborated on various projects by other musicians. Paul Robinson (drums) is a very well respected session musician who has played with many major artists (before and after Sleeping Lions) such as Nina Simone, and continues to work across all genres of music and theatre productions.
