ALEXANDER GARCIA sits down with Sage on 'Shout Out with Sage' on StreamInn Hub Radio to discuss his career as a professional Skateboarder and Filmmaker. ALEXANDER was exposed to the cinema at a young age and wrote his first script at 12 years old. His fascination with horror films stems from his mother being a huge Stephen King fan who took him to his first cineplex film to see "Carrie". During a long and successful career in professional skateboarding, under the alias Al Garcia, Alexander landed in the FREESTYLE HALL OF FAME , the technical genre in the skateboarding culture. Alexander then hung up his skateboard to focus on filmmaking as a writer, producer, and director. Alexander was groomed by some of the biggest producers and cinematographers in the biz including "Get Out" producer SHAUN REDICK to veteran cinematographer Peter Jensen. He later formed Multi-Valence Productions, under whose name he filmed the skateboarding driven feature film "Crushed It!" just before the pandemic hit in 2019. Alexander continues to thread stories that cross-sector into different genres with elements that resonate with the general audiences as well as the millennial GenZ generation. Alexander attributes skateboarding for his innovative mind and classic approach to filmmaking.
